DescriptionHindu Goddess as Durga in standing postion with spear slaying buffalo-headed demon Mahisha who lays at her feet. Multiple arms hold weapon attributes. Halo behind her head within an archway. Features have been smoothened due to use. This figure is usually considered a metaphor for Moksha, the Hindu goal of spiritual liberation.
