DescriptionPair of disc and pendant earrings. The concave disc is embellished with a ten-petalled rosette in filigree and set with a garnet bead. Suspended from each disc is a pendant in the form of a winged Eros. He is shown in flight, with his left leg advanced and arms outstretched at his sides.  This type of disc and pendant earring was popular from the late 4th century BC well into the Roman era.
