DescriptionThis small oil flask (aryballos) is decorated with geometric patterns featuring cross-hatched triangles and ladder motifs. The fabric of the vase suggests that it comes from Central Crete, but the style of decoration is unusual for that area. The shape and decoration suggest that it may instead have been made in the Argolid, Peloponnese, Greece.
