DescriptionThis oil flask (round aryballos) is decorated in black-figure technique with three stylized warriors carrying large round shields. This is a typical decoration for Corinthian aryballoi. On the back is an unusual motif of a cross in a circle. The vase is dated to the Middle Corinthian period.
