DescriptionThis lamp is made in 'Bubastis ware' (grey-black clay with polished dark grey slip) from the eastern Nile Delta. It is decorated in relief with ivy sprays and volutes. On the base is an impressed mark which seems to be a feature of Late Ptolemaic lamps.
