DescriptionSet of insignia badges for the front and back of the pufu (overcoat) of the child of a 7th rank civil official (mandarin duck). Dark blue silk satin embroidered with silk floss in satin stitch and stem stitch. Left-facing bird on mound in billows; peaches and peonies grow from rocks at sides; clouds and bats above. Fret border of couched gold thread. Front halves sewn together.
