DescriptionThe inscription is incomplete at both ends. Letters are carefully designed to fit into one another, like pieces in a puzzle. The calligrapher has also added leaves and transformed some letters into flowers. The inscription reads: [blessings...]...to Abd Allah Jafar al-imam al-Muqtadir bi-llah, Commander of the Faithful, may God support him, from what was ordered by the vizier [Ali?]...
