Objects like this are also found with the rest of the doll's body, which is comprised of pieces of cloth. All that is visible of the bone core in those cases is the face. The face of this example has extra details other than the eyes, and these closely resemble tattoos found in recent times on women in Egypt, particularly amongst the bedouin.
