DescriptionSet of insignia badges for the front and back of the pufu (overcoat) of a military official of the 3rd degree (leopard). Leopard's body faces right, with head turned right towards the sun (as worn). Animal on mound in billows; gold chrysanthemum at right; clouds and bats against background of gold tendrils and lotus on dark blue ground. Water contains precious objects and a rebus of a vase with three halberds and a ruyi sceptre. Border of gold tendrils and lotus on dark blue ground. Painting on animal and mound.
