DescriptionSet of insignia badges for the front and back of the pufu (overcoat) of a 5th rank civil official, symbolized by a silver pheasant. Black satin embroidered with silk floss in satin stitch in blues, analine purple, and green, outlined in couched gold thread. Right-facing bird on mound in wave border against closely filled background of clouds, bats, flowers and buddhist symbols. Li shui (deep water) waves of couched gold thread. Border of tendrils and lotus.
