DescriptionThe heavy hoop, composed of two-strand gold wire, spirally twisted, terminates in a well modelled lion's head. A collar with eleborate filigreed scrolls, bands of beaded and plain wire and a frieze of ovolos forms the transition between the feline head and the hoop. A twisted wire, soldered to the hoop, forms the curled end which passes through a loop below the lion's mouth.
