DescriptionAlthough this general type is known to have been produced at a number of centres in Syria, all Ayyubid and Zangid-period stonepaste ceramics of this type found at al-Fustāt that have been tested using petrographic analysis (which actually includes this specific object) have been found to have the Damascus fabric.
