Description

A vertical band with at least two alternating flower-sprays interspersed with smaller sprigs and flying insects. To the left there is a narrow border of formal flowers and leaves. The flower-spray is similar to those published in pattern-books in the late 17th and early 18th century, particularly the patterns by Ducerceau.
