DescriptionSet of insignia badges for the front and back of the pufu (overcoat) of a 7th rank civil official (mandarin duck). Navy satin embroidered with silk floss in peking knot oulined with couched white cord. Left-facing bird on mound in billows with buddhist symbols; clouds and bats in sky above; peaches and peonies grow at sides. Border of lotus and meander in embroidery and framed with gold thread.
