DescriptionSet of insignia badges for the front and back of a pufu (overcoat) of a 9th rank civil official (paradise flycatcher). Navy blue satin embroidered with silk floss in peking knot with outline in couched white cord. Left-facing bird is perched on a mound in billows with buddhist symbols; sky with clouds and gold couched bats; peaches and peonies grow at the sides. Border of bats and shou characters. Front halves remain uncut.
