DescriptionSet of insignia badges for the front and back of a pufu (overcoat) of a 9th rank civil official (paradise flycatcher). Brown satin embroidered with silk floss in peking knot edged with couched white cord: background of couched gold thread. Left-facing bird on mound in billows and striped lishui (deep water) with some buddhist symbols. Cloud background with bats and buddhist symbols. Fret border of couched dull gold thread.
