DescriptionSet of insignia badges for the front and back of a pufu (overcoat) of a 9th rank civil official (paradise flycatcher). Dark blue satin with silk floss embroidery and couched outlines of white cord. Left-facing bird on mound in billows with some buddhist symbols and striped lishui (deep water); clouds, buddhist symbols and bats in background. Bright gold in wave border. Gold couched fret border.
