DescriptionSet of insignia badges for the front and back of a man's pufu (overcoat); imperial official with a front-facing five-clawed dragon. Navy blue satin ground. Design embroidered with silk floss in satin stitch, stem stitch and couching. Dragon of couched gold thread and stem stitch suspended above billows and lishui (deep water) containing buddhist symbols, against clouds and taoist symbols. Fret border of couched gold thread.
