DescriptionSet of insignia badges for the front and back of the pufu (overcoat) of a 5th rank civil official, symbolized by a silver pheasant. Purple-black satin embroidered with silk floss in satin stitch and stem stitch: bright blue and analine purple predominate. Bird and sun appliqued on square. Right-facing bird on mound in billows against cloud and fret background. Flower basket above. Border of peaches, bats, peonies, shou characters, and endless knots.
