DescriptionSet of insignia badges for the front and back of the pufu (overcoat) of a 1st rank civil official (crane). Navy satin embroidered with silk floss and couched gold thread. Right-facing bird on mound above billows and striped lishui (deep water); swastika fret background in blue; sky with clouds, bats and buddhist symbols outlined with couched gold thread; pagodas and pine trees at sides. Gold fret border.
