DescriptionTypically ceramics have an overall glaze and are painted with different colours in various techniques. This type of ceramic is decorated by the application of different glazes *next* to each other. Petrographic analysis of this type has shown that it was made in the same production centre as the contemporary lustre-wares of Fatimid Egypt.
