DescriptionIn the 1987-88 Season the ROM undertook excavations at the kiln site of Zabid, Zabid East 48. This produced evidence of local manufacture for Zabid pottery, and an abundance of 9th-10th century pottery. This specific piece, however, is an import from Basra, Iraq.
