DescriptionThis small ceramic sherd from Fort Albany, Ontario, comes from an English tin-glazed or 'Delftware' earthenware vessel. The white glaze covered both the interior and exterior and has a blue-pink tint to it. This type of ceramic was at its peak in popularity in the 17th and 18th centuries.
