DescriptionThis beaver weathervane reflects the degree to which the beaver is a prevalent symbol in Canadian culture, and has been for hundreds of years. The shape here is very reminiscent of beaver silhouettes used in contemporary 20th century design. This particular vane has 8 bullet holes, perhaps indicating it may have been used as a shooting target.
