DescriptionFrom infant age to three years old children are carried in cradleboards. Laced to the board, babies are swaddled in cloths and fur with moss diapers. The cradleboard is carried on the parents' back and when not being transported the board is leaned against a tree or lodge wall. The extending hoop supports a cloth cover protecting the child from the elements and if the board should fall the hoop protects the child from hitting the ground.
