DescriptionThe place of origin and maker of the bowl is based on stylistic considerations. Three figures are missing from its shank. The stem is of a type sometimes called a "puzzle stem", since the location of the smoke passage is not readily apparent. In this case the smoke passage is concealed in a channel along one side.
