DescriptionThis high-necked tankard is covered in geometric patterns, as is typical of the period, including hatched quatrefoils and hatched swastika motifs. While the style of decoration looks Athenian, the fabric and shape are not typcial, leading to the suggestion that this might be made in Boeotia instead.
