DescriptionSet of insignia for the front and back of the pufu (overcoat) of the wife of a 4th rank military official (tiger). Blue-black satin embroidered with silk floss and gold thread in satin stitch, long and short stitch, and couching. Left-facing animal with head turned right on green mound in blue and green lishui (deep water); wave border containing four buddhist symbols. Clouds, bats and four other buddhist symbols against background of quatrefoils with swastikas between in couched gold thread. Fret border of couched gold thread.
