DescriptionSet of insignia badges for the front and back of the pufu (overcoat) of a 4th rank civil official (goose). White canvas ground entirely covered with embroidery in tent stitch and couching. Left-facing gold and silver bird on mound in billows edged with couched gold thread with buddhist symbols. Gold and silver clouds and bats against black background. Fret and tendril border.
