DescriptionSet of insignia badges for the front and back of the pufu (overcoat) of a 4th rank civil official (goose). Black satin ground entirely covered with silk floss embroidery design in satin stitch and couched gold thread. Right-facing white bird with head turned left on blue mound in green billows with precious objects above multicoloured striped waves. Rebus of jar, three halberd and jade chime to the right of the mound. Clouds closely embroidered against a light blue background. Narrow border of couched gold thread.
