DescriptionInsignia badge for the front of the pufu (overcoat) of the wife of a 4th rank civil official (goose). Purple-black satin embroidered in satin stitch and couching. Yellow left-facing bird on mound in wave border; above are clouds, Taoist symbols and golden tendrils in the background. Tendrils, waves, and outline of bird is in couched gold thread and other motifs are in satin stitch in shades of blue. Tendril and floral border.
