DescriptionInsignia badge for the back of a pufu (overcoat) for a civil rank official of the 3rd degree (peacock). Dark blue satin embroidered with silk floss in peking knot and couched peacock feathers on bird's tail and crest. Right-facing bird on mound in billows containing taoist symbols; peaches and peonies growning from rocks at sides; clouds and bats. Border of blue and red lotus and tendrils.
