DescriptionSet of insignia badges for the front and back of a man or woman's pufu (overcoat); imperial official or family member with five-clawed dragon (mang). Black silk twill ground. Design embroidered with silk floss in satin stitch, stem stitch, and couching. Dragon in couched gold thread, satin stitch and stem stitch suspended above billows containing buddhist symbols and multicoloured striped lishui (deep water). Background of clouds and bats and taoist symbols. Analine purple in wave border and symbols. Edged with blue braid.
