DescriptionSet of insignia badges for the front and back of a pufu (overcoat) for a 5th rank civil official (silver pheasant). White silk mesh completely covered with counted stitch embroidery in silk floss. Separately worked bird applied to centre above striped lishui (deep water) and billows on a cloud filled ground. Separately worked sun disc in upper left corner. All edges finished with a fret border.
