DescriptionIn the Han period, people sat on the floor on mats, they didn't use tables and chairs. These gilded bronze weights of the Western Han (206 BC - 24 AD) were used to keep a thin mat in place. Each weight is a small sculpture of a striped tiger and a spotted leopard in combat.
