DescriptionA very complete skeleton, Corythosaurus had a tall, narrow, helmet-shaped crest. Collected by Levi Sternberg in 1919, the skeleton was originally mounted in a bipedal upright pose. The second floor of the ROM’s 1932 wing was designed to accommodate its 5-metre (17-foot) height, but it has been repositioned to show the scientifically accepted horizontal posture. This is the specimen that may have changed the most from old to new Dinosaur gallery.
